EVANS ARCHIVE IS HOSTING BROWN BROTHERS THE OLDEST STOCK PHOTO AGENCY IN THE U.S.
Recently acquired by Lelands, Brown Brothers is the last of the great photo archives
A unique archive, it originates from the 1900s to 1930s. But it also includes  the 19th century right up to the 1960s.
We will be offering thousands of original, vintage images on eBay in the coming months. They will cover all areas of popular culture:  sports, Hollywood (including many of the celebrated Photographers such as George Hurrell and Nickolas Muray), music, historical, and more.
Almost all of our auctions start at .97, with no reserves.

Judith Doris Forst OC OBC is a Canadian mezzo-soprano. Born in New Westminster, British Columbia, she received a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia in 1964. She is the sister-in-law of long time Vancouver radio personality Brian Forst. In 1968 she won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
Louis Mélançon
(1901-1974) was the in-house
photographer
for the Metropolitan Opera from 1947 to his death in 1974.
